I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in MIT’s Resilient Infrastructure Networks Lab and Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems, researching the value of distributed energy resources to their owners and the electricity grid.
I am advised by Saurabh Amin and enrolled in the Social and Engineering Systems doctoral program within the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society.
Research
My research examines how electricity tariffs and operating incentives affect investment, grid reliability, and consumer welfare. Current projects focus on solar investment under net metering, the value of storage during supply disruptions, and who benefits or loses under time-varying electricity pricing.
